The food and drink manufacturing sector has seen a series of high profile mergers and acquisitions this year. We capture the top deals in photos.

Weetabix leads this photogallery of the top food and drink industry deals reported by the Food Manufacture group.

The breakfast manufacturer was sold to US-based Post Holdings in a deal worth about £1.4bn, the most expensive acquisition reported this year.

This year saw the sale of Addo Food Group to Lloyds Development Capital and Glanbia’s acquisitions of Amazing Grass and Body & Fit.

Also featured in this gallery are acquisitions by Marston’s, Real Good Food and Samworth Brothers.
