EHL: has already launched seven new herb and spice blends this year

A herbs and spices specialist has launched 10 new products as part of a wider roll-out to celebrate 20 years in business.

The blends bring new, exotic flavours to food manufacturers and give new product development teams inspiration for dishes and accompaniments from around the world, EHL Ingredients claimed.

Korean barbecue seasoning

Flavours include a Korean barbecue seasoning, khmeli suneli from Georgia, vadouvan curry powder from India, Malaysian satay seasoning, an Indonesian fish curry powder, and an Old Bay seasoning from the US.

The new products are said to be suitable for curries, marinated meats, fish and vegetables, summer barbecue foods and spicy winter warmers.

Seven new blends

EHL has already launched seven new herb and spice blends this year, including a Brazilian-style churrasco seasoning, two new barbecue blends, and four Asian spice mixes. There are at least three more in the pipeline.

The company is targeting £7M in sales by the end of the year, with more growth planned.
