Personalised nutrition and reformulation were hot trends at this year’s Vitafoods event in Geneva, Switzerland from May 9–11. We capture some of the best tweets from the event.

Peter Wennström from business consultancy Healthy Marketing Team drew the attention of Twitter users at the event with his presentation on building a culture of innovation.

Health and nutrition multinational DSM identified fortification of staple foods as a “huge manufacturing opportunity”.

Reformulating food products to optimise nutrition intake was the topic of Leatherhead Food Research director of nutrition and innovation Jenny Arthur’s talk.

This year once again saw Food Manufacture’s sister title Nutra Ingredients hold its annual awards, with Fazer Bakery winning the award for Healthy food of the year.
