The health benefits of a soluble fibre claimed to promote oral health and glycaemic response have been approved by the EU.

Manufactured by Roquette, Nutriose has been shown to contribute to the maintenance of tooth mineralisation by reducing tooth demineralisation; and also by inducing lower postprandial (post-meal) glycaemic responses.

Neutral taste

Said to be a non-viscous soluble fibre with a neutral taste, Nutriose is obtained from wheat and corn.

It can be used to improve the nutritional profile of a wide range of foodstuffs.

The health benefits are backed by eight clinical studies conducted in four parts of the world, which Roquette said have been acknowledged by the European Food Safety Authority.
