Morrisons leads product recalls – in pictures

Morrisons and Co-op feature in this gallery of food and drink recalls

Morrisons recalled batches of cupcakes for undeclared allergens last week, ahead of a recall of illegally repackaged frozen fish and chicken products in Scotland.

Undeclared allergens and batteries in chocolate Santas also sparked recalls, featured in this photogallery of product recalls over the past month.

Other companies that had to recall their products included retailers Co-op and Sainsbury, as well as producers PepsiCo and Heatherlea Bakery.

Meanwhile, Marks & Spencer has condemned the sale of its own-label food by unauthorised third-party sellers, after two of its pork stuffing products were part of a Food Standards Agency recall.
