Herbs and spices specialist opens third site

EHL says the new unit will enable it to source new ingredients and develop its product range

An importer, blender and packer of food ingredients around the world has increased its manufacturing capacity by 50%, after acquiring a 750m2 manufacturing site in Stockport.

EHL Ingredients said the new unit – its third at the Broadstone Industrial Estate – would enable it to source new ingredients and develop its product range.

Several new jobs were expected to be created in a recruitment drive later this year.

The herbs and spices specialist said the increase in space and workforce would result in improvements to its packaging, and allow it to supply more off-the-shelf products and shorten lead times.
