Second year of start-up success for Cauli Rice
Making its second appearance on the Startups 100 list is Cauli Rice, taking the number 47 spot.
The company had a turnover of £1.5M after its first year of trading, with sales forecasted to hit £2.2M by the end of this year.
The firm’s cauliflower rice is now stocked in Tesco, Asda, Waitrose and Sainsbury after founders Gem Misa and Jamie Harris found a gap in the market for a new rice-like product.
The cauliflower rice has been sold to more than 350,000 households, Cauli Rice claimed.
