Brioche recalled for undeclared soya
Les Brioche has recalled its Les Brioche Pain au lait eight packs because of a packing error.
The rolls, which are sold in Co-op stores, were incorrectly packaged with the manufacturer’s Les Brioche Chocolate Chip Brioche Rolls.
The chocolate chip rolls contain soya, which is not mentioned on the packaging of the Pain au lait variant, making them a possible health risk to consumers with an allergy to the ingredient.
The recall applied to 280g packs of the rolls with a Best-before date of November 4 2017 and the batch code L09 14:43 UK1 279.
The FSA advised consumers who have bought the products to return it to the store it was purchased from to receive a full refund.
