Unbar Rothon recruits for new key role
Flavours and seasonings specialist Unbar Rothon has appointed Terry Day to the key role of new product and business development manager.
His role is to build on the established expertise in recipe development and work with the company’s customers on new flavour profiles.
He joins the 95-year old Essex company after a career spent in the foodservice sector. He has worked in the kitchens of London’s Waldorf, Dorchester and Savoy Hotels before becoming head chef at Aspinal’s Casino.
Later, he created value added products for a wholesale meat supplier and for catering butcher Fairfax Meadow. Between 2001 to 2014 he joined Mitchells & Butler to develop the food offers for Toby, Harvester, Crown Carvery, Vintage Inns, O Neill’s and other house brands.
