Poultry giant hit by £163.5M costs
Making its fourth and final appearance on our most popular news list is 2 Sisters Food Group (2SFG), with news that costs and charges of £163.5M had increased its debts across the past financial year.
The one-off exceptional items were a result of refinancing costs, factory sales and closures, the firm claimed.
“The loss for the year after interest and taxation of £143.3M (2013: £33.5M) was adversely affected by restructuring costs and other exceptional items amounting to £101.1M (2013: £25.5M) and financial charges of £62.4M in relation to refinancing the group’s debt capital.”
